Audi Photoshoot

I recently got a new camera (a Canon T2i for the camera buffs) and this is my first real photoshoot with it. I’m a complete DSLR noobie and it’s on “Full Auto” mode, but hey, they turned out a heck of a lot better than the usual pictures I post here…for 2011, expect to see better and better quality pictures being posted on this blog, and if you’re a Flickr user, be sure to add me as a contact so you can check out all my pictures & maybe give me a few pointers :) And without further adieu, here are some more pictures!

White Audi Convertible

First off of the group is my friend Matt’s B6 Audi S4 Cabriolet. He has done a fantastic job modifying it while retaining that OEM plus look to it. His wheels are OEM 19×9 Audi TT-S wheels that look awesome with his coilover suspension. He has repainted the front grille, updated the rear tail lights to the B7 Cabriolet tail lights, added Milltek downpipes and a Magnaflow quad tip exhaust, and finished it off with the OEM B7 S4 Rear Valence to boot. The end result is a super clean, orgasmic sounding Cabriolet. But what perhaps stands out the most in Matt’s car is the color combination – the red leather interior “pops” against the white exterior, making his interior just as jaw dropping as the exterior. His next modification is a flat bottom Audi TT-S steering wheel, of which I’m very jealous!

White Audi S4 Sedan

Next is my friend John’s White B7 Audi S4 Sedan – you may recognize it from a few of my track day posts, as John is certainly no stranger to the track. John is also a bit of a wheel collector, and has had several different setups on his car, but no matter what he keeps coming back to his very unique polished 19″ Sportec wheels. Normally I’m not a fan of polished wheels, but this is doing polish right. John has several other very rare Sportec mods to compliment the wheels, as well as a STaSIS exhaust coupled with B&B downpipes for an aggressive sound.

Silver Audi A4 Sedan

Last and probably least is my car – the lowly A4 of the group :) Since my last photoshoot I’ve made a few minor changes in my pursuit of B7 perfection – most noticeably, I changed out the BBS Center Caps from Black/Carbon to Red, which I think pops nicely and matches the S-line badging well. Secondly I took off my S4 door blades and replaced them with flat A4 door blades, which I think looks a little cleaner. And lastly I swapped out my replica S6 LEDs for OEM Audi S6 LEDs, which I think have a slightly better color and nicer looking lenses up close. A resounding lesson: you can’t beat OEM quality, and replicas suck, even if it is just a lighting product.
